Something GOOD is going to happen to you today!

In the midst of a global pandemic presently claiming the lives of 100,000+ Americans and nearly 15% of the US unemployed, we must actively, daily put our hope in God. Without hope in God, where do we go?

Hope resides in the mind. It is in the mind where our thoughts war against hope. We see the statistics, we hear the stories, we watch our retirement funds diminish. The battle of the mind is real. But we are not left helpless and forced to surrender to a daily onslaught of bad news that crush our hope. We have God’s word to give us his thoughts, his hope, and to guide us. We have God’s truth as a helmet for our minds.

Thoughts come from three primary sources: 1) our five senses – sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell; 2) our subconscious memories; 3) the spiritual world – God thoughts and thoughts from the devil. Learning to control our thoughts through daily scripture reading is the key to holding onto our hope for future good.

II Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Momentary troubles help us exercise our faith and to build our hope.
